PC Won't Start unless F1 is Pressed

I know that the installation of a new video card caused this problem but
despite trying different ways of connecting the card I still get this message
"Floppy disc missing" (or, something like that). Any solutions please? Thx.
 
It sound like while you were in the box you managed to knock loose the
data cables to the hard-drive. Check both ends are seated (motherboard
and the hard drive)
 
Thx for the suggestion but I have checked all the connections and I don't
think this is the problem. I could be wrong though.

You have cause-and-effect: you opened the case and installed a video
card. Now unplug the computer and open the case again. Unplug/reseat
everything. Check for functionality again.
