I have no idea what happened but awhile ago i haven't been able to use my CD
drive because anything i put in there can never be found. I took a look at it
today, tried to uninstal the device and the driver itself, reinstalled
everything, and nothing seems to be working.
I looked at my windows explorer today and noticed that it lists an A: drive
but the D: drive (my CD-ROM drive) is not listed... and I have never had a
floppy drive on this PC.
I'm assuming this is a device problem... any ideas? If i just get a new CD
drive, will that solve the problem?
And... now that i think about it, this may have happened after I installed
service pack 2... Would that have something to do with it?
