There is a trial PC Review game server running for the whole of Sunday (24 hours)

If you have Counterstrike Source and would like to give it a go, the IP Address is : 85.133.16.54:27155

The Server Name is : game2xs.com PC Review.co.uk

I SERIOUSLY have to get me CS:S. I`m waiting till after my exams to get 1/2life 2 and doom3 else, i`ll fail totally (my exams that is, i`ll prob be good at the games instead tho)

I've told the server to use port 1150, is there anyway to connect directly to the IP?

There are more numbers on a i.p address for C:S i swear ... i can't find it on there :S

And no i don't lol
 
I've sent in a support ticket to the server people, as it doesn't seem to be working properly... I'll keep this thread updated!

hi ian,

the ip should look something like this ----> 82.15.16.18:27015

27015 being the port no.

if you make sure you have console enabled in cs:s and on the start screen press ` key
and a window should open, type connect and the i.p. including port no. and it will start to connect.

also if you want to add it to your favourites, you need to choose the favourite tab and select add
new server, enter ip + port no. and it should appear.

Cheers pikakilla, I'm finding my way around the web console they have provided as it doesn't tell me the port number for some reason. I will keep toying with it thismorning to fix it :)

dont know much but a mate of mine has his own dedicated hl2dm server,
so if you need any help just ask.
i have tried searching for the name but no pc review server came up, plenty of game2x servers
though

Turns out it was set up ok, I'm just an idiot ;) It started at 12 noon :D

Hmm Ian are you planning on running the server for regular counter-strike? i dont have source yeat and was woundering if you would run it under cs instead of cs:s

It would be CS:S I'm afraid, as more people have that here. Check out Chris's thread, as that was CS :)
 
Hey Guys,

Give it till 8PM tonight and i should have both running on my server side by side.

Max 6 slots each though as i haven't received my new Xeon 2.8 to the datacentre yet so i am limiting the slots so i dont starve the server of resources.

UT2004 is a game I might add in time, but at the moment I don't have a server running. Chris has CS:S running on his new server though (see the other thread on it).
