I have a PC Windows XP SP2....it reboots about 5 min after it loads up
wether you login or not....I can hear the hard drive crunching away as
if it's trying to do something. When I boot in safe mode it dosen't
restart.....so in safe mode everything is OK.

I have run anti-virus in safe mode and nothing comes up.....I have also
looked in the event viewer and everything is very clean....Any ideas?

If there's nothing showing in Event Viewer, it could be hardware although
since it works in Safe Mode it could be a program or process starting.
First disable the automatic restart:

Control Panel>System>Advanced>Startup and Recovery>Settings and under System
Failure uncheck "Automatically Restart".

This should give you the blue screen and Stop Error. Write down the Stop
Error and look it up here:

worked and the time they didn't?
