PC loses connection to local server whenever multiple windows are

I use a mapped drive for my daily work on a local server. However, when ever
I open several windows (i.e. iExplorer, Excel, etc.) my mapped connection
errors out. If I close some (most) of the windows I will regain my
connection.

Any ideas what may be causing this issue?

Greetings John! I haven't seen it myself, but maybe this has something
to do with it.

- Windows XP Home only allows 5 connections.
- Windows XP Pro only allows 10 connections.
- Windows Server allows for more connections.
