I am logging into Outlook 2000 in Online mode.Thereafter,I
remove the network cable so that my PC goes out of the
network.
What kind of behavior does Outlook exhibit on doing this ??
It does not show the "Offline/Disconnected" sign at the
bottom.

Please help.

I've not tried it, but I suspect Outlook will work as normal until you do
something that tries to access the network, like send or receive. Probably
you'll then get some kind of error message.
