How do I globally reset all my pc settings to the defaults? Is there a way
to do this with one key stroke----or, do I have to grind my way through
doing the reset to a number of different areas?

Huh? - Not sure I follow what you mean by Globally reset. Once you
install any application or set any Global setting (Display Resolution) it
isn't possible to reset the PC via commands. The closest that you can
do to attain that would be to create a new user. This effectively starts
up a new account with the "Default User" profile as a template.

Using System Restore, you could restore to earliest date, if you have that
service running?

Personally I don’t, coz immediately after a fresh install I take an image of
the OS using Ghost 2003, saving it if required later!

Regards!

Good answers. Thanks.

Restore wouldn't work for me in this quest, as my restore points have all
the current settings. Good thought, though.

And, I use something similar to Ghost to get a hard drive image in
storage.

Guess I'm out of luck on an easy way to reset everything to the Windows
defaults.
