My father-in-law's PC is struggling. It crashed and wouldn't go past windows
log on screen, so we've used the reinstallation CD to take it back to as it
was when first bought, taken all additional pci cards out, replaced original
crt and keyboard. But on reboot it automatically goes through scandisc, then
when windows loaded will eventually give following error message:
Errot Report Contents:
c:\windows\minidump\mini 020305-01dmp
c:\docume~1\keith\locals~1\temp\wer1.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml

We are not clever enough to know whats going on, can anybody offer any
suggestions?

Hey Carey,
Thanks for the prompt reply. The error 'message' is not quite that same as
the link that you posted, but the error 'report' was the same. His error
message is:
BCCode:d1, BCP1: 0010 0000, BCP2: 0000 002, BCP3: 0000 000, BCP4: 0010 0000,
OSver:5_1_2600, SP:0_0, Product 708_1

But I'm confused in that the link you posted went to ATI but I don't think
he has an ATI Radeon product in the PC. His display adaptor is nvidia, is
this the same item I need to be looking at? Sorry for being a thicko!

He has also had an error on a blue screen reading:
driver_IRQL_not_less_or_equal

Regards,
Peter
