Ive had many problems adjusting to the new version of
windows. So i tried to install a windows 2000 server pro
ed. It screwed things up. Many combinations, and
fails. Im PRETTY SURE its all going right now. However,
in my original installation of XP, i had an excellent
version of PC CILLIN. It will no longer come up. I
didnt buy it, so i know it came on my XP. I did a search
on my XP disc, and found a HTTP saying this version does
not support PC CILLIN. Does anyone know exactly where or
how on the XP (or even 2000) you can get a firewall like
that. DONT TELL ME the built in one XP gives you...PC
Cillin caught so many more net browsing and trojan horses
where XP just stopped cookies and my active x controls.
thanks Lordfaramir13

You and me both. Have you tried Zone Alarm? Probably one
of the best (and free) software firewalls out there. For a
very good antivirus solution, try AVG antivirus free
edition. (also free).

PC Cillin is NOT part of XP and never has been. It may have been bundled
with your computer a part of a package, but it's not part of XP itself...

Give Zone Alarm a try (www.zonelabs.com) They have a free version you can
try too...
