PC case speaker question

When I start my computer the single "beep" that I get from my case speaker
is hard to hear. Is there any way to increase the volume? I am using
Windows XP Home.

Without replacing the actual speaker, probably not.

Or if it's really important you could buy a cheap peizo speaker/buzzer
and wire it in parallel across the speaker.They are small and loud
from Radio-shack(USA) Maplins UK and are very high impedance so won't
but a drain on the system.Just check the voltage across the speaker :P
