I am having a problem with one of my notebooks. When I closing down my
notebook, just before the black screen, I get a small 'pop-up' that says
something about a Norton runtime error. It quickly disappears before I can
read it. I want to report it to Norton, but I can't read it. Is ther any way
I can pause or free the screen so I can read this pop-up or possibly copy it?
I think there was something in DOS you could do by pressing two keys and the
printing would freeze.
Is there any way to do this in WinXP just before the pc shuts down completely?
Thank you

You can try looking in the Event Viewer.
Click Start -> Run then type eventvwr and click OK.
I imagine the entry would be in the "Application" area.
