i hope i put this in right spot where do i find the
following patches Q812960 and Q812400 according to mcafee
i need these to fix a script error message

thats what codes mcafee told me to look for but heres
there error message im getting when i try to configure my
setting error ha occurred on this sript page line 922
char 5 error data area passed to a system is too small
code 0

Hi

You'll have to try Mcafee again - the error message seems to be pointing to
one of their files. I don't use Mcafee. Try a Google search for:

'data area passed a system call is too small'

without the quotes.

The first of those pages is not currently available so maybe you have
mis-typed the number. For the second, those are fixes that are as yet
not completely tested and which may get modified, so issue of them is
restricted to those who have the trouble. Call support at Microsoft,
and explain that you want the fix for article 812400 because you are
experiencing the problem. You may be asked about the trouble and asked
to give feedback on any side effects of the fix, but as long as that is
all you ask for you will not be charged
