Patched Windows SP-2 pc keeps showing Java/Byte Verify in Viral Sc

A friend of mine keeps encoutering this exploit test when running AVG. I've
had her dump her temporary files and Sun Java Cache. Will new IE 7 finally
plug this annoying hole once and for all? Just curious Thanks.

What version of Java?
 
According to the Sun Java Forums they are harmless and usually a false
alarm. Clearing your Java cache usually stops the warning.
