patch KB810217

I was trying to install KB810217, but I couldn't for a
problem mentioned in other post.

Later I tried to install KB810217 from the exe file
downloaded from microsoft download page, but it messed up
my computer. The Logitech mouse did not work anymore. I
managed to uninstall the patch even though it says it
cannot be unistalled.

Did anybody has any problem with path KB810217?

I think I have a problem related to this patch... a couple days after install when I tried to publish to my website using Frontpage 2000 Premium, I get an error..."unable to access web files...." It was the first time i tried to publish since the install...and the server told me it's not on their side. If you find out any more please let me know. Thanks.
 
Which problem mentioned in the post? I am currently trying to install this crap and am having know luck.
