I tried downloading the patch, but after the information
finished coming i was prompt with NOT A VALID WIN32
APPLICATION. I'm running windows xp home edtion.
I tried both windows xp 32bit
windows xp 64bit
 
your download was corrupt, try to download again from the MS site somewhere (don't use it from anyone else's site or an email).

you need to 32bit version
