Pasting text into Word XP?

Hello,

I continually copy text from another application into Word. I have Office
XP. When I paste text into Word, I get a sub menu asking 1) keep original
format 2) format to destination 3) keep text only.

I repeatedly have to click keep text only. I found the option to turn this
submenu off (uncheck Show Paste buttons). However, then it leaves it in the
format from the application that I copied the text from.

Is there a way to set the default behavior to when I copy something from
another program that it will just copy the text only without me having to
click on the sub menu "keep text only"?
