When I copy text from within an email body to Excel 97, it is always formatted differently from the Excel document, that is, both wrapped text and merge cells are checked. I would like it to remain unformatted - any way to do this without having to reformat the copied text after pasting each time?

Thanks!

Bob,
The easiest way I know is to paste the text into Notepad, save it.
This normally strips out formatting.
You can then either copy the text again and paste into Excel or you
can open the text file with Excel and use the text import wizard.

Bob,

Another way that I use is to copy and Paste Special > Unicode Text

Then if necessary, Data > Text to Columns > Delimited > Next > (usually)
Space > Finish
