paste object from excel into word does not print properl

When pasting an excel 97 object into a word 97 page it
will not print properly. If the characters are rotated
either 45 or 90 degrees, they will print very light or not
at all. All other print is clear. Using 'paste special'
and bitmap or other object type will print 'fuzzy'.
Anybody have an ideas.

Problem solved. You need to have the default printer set

as the printer you will be printing to from word before
opening the excel document and then pasting.
