Password

My PC (OS Win.XPPro) is warning me on bootup that my Password will expire in
one day and do I want to change it, although I firstly changed the Password
once and I was still having this warning, so I removed the Password
altogether, but I still get the same notice!

How do I get rid off this message and what will happen in one day - will I
lose access to my PC completely?
