Ok, so I have Windows XP on my home computer and have set
up a password for myself as an administrator, and set up
a password for the administrator. Guess what? I forgot
the password and can't get in. Now, what do I do?

I am having the same issue and would love to get an
answer, Help please


Personally, I would love if people learned to search/research for their
answers. Searching these newsgroups.. Searching with Google.. Searching
the Microsoft Knowledge Base.. etc....

You could try to log on with the original Administrator user:

If that doesn't work out, you might try to reset the local Administrator
password with one of the methods mentioned here:
