After I downloaded a critical security update from
microsoft yeasterday, when I tried to restart my laptop
Which has window XP home edition, it stop at the beginning
and tells me :
Log on to Windows
User name: Bashar
Password :

It never happened before and I don't know that I created a
password in the past, I cann't turn on my PC anymore.

Please help help

Have you tried to log on with the original Administrator user:

How to Log On to Windows XP If You Forget Your Password or Your
Password Expires

If that doesn't work out, you might try to reset the local Administrator
password with one of the methods mentioned here:
