I recently updated my pc complete with the addition of
new hard drive etc, And Xp Professional, having
previously worked with win98. I get a message that my
password is about to expire. How do I
stop this from happening?

Hi Trevor,

If you prefer to not see this dialog again, you can set the "password never
expires" option using these steps:

1. Start Run Control Userpasswords2
2. Click on the Advanced tab
3. Under Advanced User Management click on Advanced
4. Double-click on the target user under the Users folder
5. Check "Password Never Expires"
