I support over one hundred Tablet PC's that have been
purchased in the last 3 months. I have now had 4 users
tell me they didn't set a password when starting the
Tablet for the first time and it worked fine for a while,
but then one day it won't let them in using the blank
password. I don't know if it relates to Windows XP Tablet
PC Edition or all XP Pro users. Basically the user set up
the Tablet without putting a password in durning set up so
the administrator account would have a blank password and
now they can't get in with a blank password. I am pretty
sure that all 4 cases happened after 30 days of setting up
the Tablet. All 4 didn't set up a user account and was
using the default Administrator account. Has anyone ran
accross this problem and if so where you able to log in or
did you have format it back to original with the CDs that
came it?
