Password Reset Disk

Hi,

If I change my Wndows vVsta password why do I not have to make a new
reset disk?

Hi,

Because it does not work by remembering your old password, it works off of a
security descriptor for your user account.

PMFBI, I have made a reset disk for each PC but have never had to use
one in anger.
Can a PSW file be picked up if/when required from a USB memory stick
which contains other files or should it be the only item on the mem
stick ?
