password required(help urgent)

I have WIn2k AS Domain And I have Exchange server .
my problem is when iam trying to configure (ms outlook)
for any user except the administrators from a specifc (xp
machine) it is strangely asks me for username,password
and domain knowing that it never happened before,and if I
supply the required information it asks again and again
telling me that my password or username is not
correct,sometimes after several time of entering the
information.it allows the mail access to me

any help will be much appreciated

Did you run anything to tighten security. If so look at
the lmcompatibility setting in your servers registry.
(just serch for LMC in regedit) If it is over 1, change
it to 1 and reboot. If it works, read up on LMC and see
what you NEED to have it set at.

There may be a replication problem amongst your Domain Controllers.

1) Install the support tools
2) run repamin /showreps to see if there is a problem.
3) Create a test user and see if theis account works properly.

I do not know how to install support tools
and I also have a doubt about the DCs replication
could you tell me what I could do
 
The Support tools are located on the Windows 2000 Server CD.
