Right-click on the root of your default Personal Folders, select Properties,
then Advanced then "Change Password"

You can't actually password-protect Outlook, but you CAN password protect
your pst file. Right-click on "Personal Folders" in the file pane, select
properties, click on Advanced and then on "Change Password".
the other option of course is to lock your screen whenever you leave your
computer and don't tell anyone your log-on password....

Are you not the only person using the PC? Each person should have his or
her own Windows username. If you walk away from your PC, you should lock
the screen with a password-protected screen saver or the WindowsKey-L key
combination.

thx for the suggestions...but thts wt my problem is...is there no way i can
protect my mailbox even if i left the PC open?

thx...i got it......
