A while back I created a document and password protected
it. Well, now I can't remember the password and I need to
get in the file badly. Is there any way to get around the
password protection????

If the document is password protected against opening then you are in deep
trouble as the encyption is very good. There is a utility linked from the
favourites page of my web site which will do the job - eventually.

Thanks Graham. I tried that program but it didn't work on
this file. I'll probably never get it open...just my luck.

The demo will only work on four digits. The full version uses brute force to
try every conceivable combination. This can take a seriously long time,
certainly longer than the time between my post and your reply, but it should
find the password eventually.
