Can someone please suggest a way of protecting a sensitive file (Word
2002) so that unauthorised viewing is not allowed? I would like to put
this file on a CD so that it is accessible to one or two persons only.
Thanks.

Use the password protect feature in Word and only give the password to
those people.

You forgot to say RTFM!
I use Word so rarely that I hadn't even realised that I could do this.
That's great, thanks for the very prompt reply. :)

I have an older free for personal use version of Dekart Secrets Keeper Word
Add On (Microsoft Word Add-On seamlessly adding AES 256 encryption
capability) Check alt.binaries.freeware
