I would like to password protect Outlook 2000. That is the
progam would not open at all without my password. I have
tried the help but can not see how to do this. Anyone
have any idea or I a missing something? Thanks for any
help.

To add a password to your personal folders follow these steps:

1.. If the Folder List is not visible, then click Folder List on the View
menu.
2.. Right-click "Outlook Today - [Personal Folders]", and then click
Properties For "Personal Folders" on the shortcut menu.
3.. On the General tab, click Advanced.
4.. Click Change Password.
5.. In the Change Password dialog box, type your new password and verify
it by typing it a second time.
6.. Make sure that the "Save this password in your password list" check
box is cleared (not checked). This prevents the password from being cached.
You will need to type it each time you run Outlook.
7.. After you have entered the password successfully, click OK three
times.

Not possible. The best you can do is password-protect your PST file, but
even that is easily overcome with tools readily available from the Internet.

Have you found a way to password protect outlook 2000 yet. That is
my question>

You can't password-protect Outlook 2000 (unless you're using Exchange), but
you can password-protect your PST.
