password control

I am trying to create a form with unbound text box (property set to
"Password"), which, when the password matches the text box on a database
administration form, will allow the user to gain access to the controls on
that form.

I have using the st link criteria, but I am not geting anywhere at all.

Can anyone suggest a way to do this?

Hi Steve

The problem with this method be the someone could just open the DB whilst
pressing the shift key and then open the administration form to get the
password

I'm kind of playing on the fact that no one else in the office knows how to
really use Access; except for filling in fields and pressing big butons that
tell them to do stuff, so it might be ok for my purposes.

If you can suggest another way - that is without having to set up
administration rights, users rights etc; I'm happy to hear.

I'm pretty sure that's never a good idea Steve, even in general. I've
been amazed how people have underestimated me over the years, just
because I sound a bit countryfied and do physical work for living.
