I just bought a new computer and would like to give my old computer to my 16
year old to use. I have MSN dial-up and would like to know if we both can
use this option (not at the same time) and what I can take off of the old
computer before passing it on to her. I am not very computer literate, so be
kind. Thanks.

Not to sure about the dial up, but about what to take off.. if you have any
personal data such as contacts, account details, files which are yours should
be taken off. I would think you should do this because incase you want your
own personal things which may be on the old computer private. I hope i
helped!

Yes you can both use the same isp account..leave old pc dial up as is.new pc
same phone number and pin number...with old pc you could go into control
panel > add/remove > remove outlook express.then get mozella thunder bird.
because its newer.fewer problems.sharing dial up might give you 1 e box?
you won't like to share with kid.do you have only 1 e box? pop3 ?or do you
have a few??you could speed up old pc with opera browser or firerfox.try
them both.
