Passing data from IE page to IE page??

Can anyone let me know if this can be done using .net?

I have a page(page1) open, and click a link that spawns a
new browser window(page2). The new window(page2) has a few
fields in which to add data, upon adding the data, and
entering, the original window(page1) is reopened, with the
data collected from the second window(page2) visible??

If you think it can be done, please share your steps?

You can share data between all of your pages a few ways, but Session
Variables are probably the easiest to use and made for this type of task.

Yes, you can access the opening window via window.opener.
