What happens when I delete a partition? Windows XP is not responding. I
have tried to repair it with the Windows XP disc, but then some error
messages come up. I was just wondering if I delete the partition and then
create a new partition will I lose all my files on my hard drive. For
example: word documents, excel documents, and picture files.

Thanks

If you delete the partition that holds the data, you will lose all the
data, even if you recreate the partition.
