I just downloaded Vista Beta 2, and I want to install it on my computer,
while keeping XP just in case. I don't want to have to reformat my entire HD
and loose everything on it just to install Vista, so I looked at Partition
Magic, but I don't want to pay all that money unless I have to.

Does anyone know af a cheep (preferrably free) alternative to Partition
Magic. I don't necessarily need the full version - a trial or beta version
would be just fine.

Any ideas would be great.

Thanks in advance,

I just posted a similar issue and now wonder if this may be part or all of
what I need to do. I'm trying to get C: & F: to work together as one drive.
Would this program be suitable?

Do the upgrade option or run it on a virtual pc
To upgrade:
-insert the dvd into your drive while windows IS running and click install
on the splash screen; then when you get to the part where it asks for upgrade
or custom choose upgrade

Or download MS's virtual pc. they have a 45 day free trial
