Partitioning Hard disk

Hello,

Please advise me how to partition my Hard disk just using the XP install
disk.

I have all 40 gigs clumped into one C drive in my note book. I wanna create
three partitions, C, D and E drive.

I am doing a clean install.

THis will explain how to partition during a 'Clean Installation': however
if Xp is already up and running and you don't want to rebuild your PC [from a
software standpoint], then you will have to obtain a 3rd party partitioning
product.

Why? You'll just end up with a full partition looking for more room.
Leave it one partition and avoid painful learning.
