I have a hard disk with 3 logical drives. I would like to
get rid of the logical drives and make one, larger disk.
However, when I deleted one of the volumes, I wasn't sure
how to make it part of "C:" again. How do I do this?

Thanks,
Kim

You need a third-party product such as PartitionMagic.

I suggest that running your machine with just one large
partition is not a good idea. Many professionals insist
on this strict separation:

- Drive C: for the operating system and for the applications
- Drive D: for data

There are several good reasons for this, e.g. the ease
of backing up data files (back up everything on D:!), and
the ability to format drive C: and re-install Windows, when
the need arises (and it will arise!). It also paves the way
for taking a snapshot image of your installation.
