My Windows 2000 drive was partitioned using Partition
Magic v7 into three logical drives C:0S, E:PROGRAMS and
F:Data. After upgrading to XP Professional the drive
letters for the PROGRAM and DATA volumes (E,F)are no
longer accessible although using the disk management
program I can still see the hidden volumes which carry as
status designation of Health (Unknown Partition). Is
there a way to gain access to these hidden volumes?

"Healthy (Unknown Partition)" is the way hidden partitions are reported in
XP. You should be able to use Partition Magic to unhide the partitions and
then they'll show up as normal in XP.

(Note this presumes you're not using a third-party boot manager. If you
are, changes made with PM might not "stick" because third-party boot
managers can alter the hidden/unhidden status on the fly at boot time. In
that case, you configure the boot manager to tell it which partitions to
unhide at boot time.)
