Hi. I just partitioned my hard drive with Partition 8 (successfully).
Before I start moving folders and apps around I need to know:
Will all the shortcuts and registry information be moved also? Or does WinXP
just make a copy to the logical drives?
How do I move My Documents.
Can I separate 'Documents and Settings' and leave just Settings on 'C'
drive? Or should I try to copy that to a partition.
Finally, if I download pictures from my camera or card reader, will it find
'My Pictures' if I move it to a separate logical drive?

No, definitely not.

There are programs, like the freeware COA32.exe, that claim to
search for all the references to moved programs and fix them for
you, but in my experience they do a less than perfect job.
Instead of moving applications, you should uninstall and
reinstall the apps you want to move.
