Hello can someone tell me how to go about setting up
parental control in Windows XP Home edition to restrict
inappropiate site for my kids. And how can I secure the
setting so that my kids cannot change it. Thank you

For settings, see www.dougknox.com, Win XP Utilities, Windows XP Security
Console. For restricting internet browsing, you're better off with a 3rd
party application designed for this purpose.

Tony,
You need to go into "My Computer". Then go to "Control
Panel" OR Go Through the "Start Menu" and
select "Settings" and Then "Control Panel". Then go
to "Internet Options". From there you have to go to
the "Content" tab. Then select the "Enable" button. You
can then adjust the settings from there. ALSO, Create A
Password so your children then can't get into the
settings and change them on you. I hope this helped you.

It is probably a better idea to create a limited account
for your kids and protect yours with a password. You can
do both in User Accounts at the Control Panel.

Tony
