Is there a way of creating a pull down menu of specific
paramaters (ie names)that are already in the adta base so
that you do not have to type in the query string you want
all the time?

thanks in advance

Not using the built-in parameter dialog box, but you can do it with a custom
form. For example, the following query assumes that the MDB contains a form,
"frmTest", with the required data in a combo box, "cboTest" ...

SELECT * FROM SomeTable WHERE SomeTable = Forms!frmTest!cboTest

The form must be open when the query is run.
