I have built lots of databases in Access and know just enough to get me in
trouble. Today's nightmare is a report based on a parameter query. This
report includes long memo fields for comments in 6 different categories. I
wanted to format the report so all comments for a specific area (e.g. 'Course
Content') were in a clump rather than each respondent's comments grouped
together (default record by record).
My genius idea was to use subreports that would get the data from the
initial parameter query ("semester", "year", "coursenumber"). The problem I
have is that, as each of the subreports launch, the parameters are requested
again. And again. And again. And... you get the idea.
I've been banging my head on my desk for lots of days now. Any help (or
ibuprofen) would be GREATLY appreciated!
