I am new to word and when I type a letter I type the body
in one big part of course using periods but never setting
the form to do paragraphs...How do I take existing
letters in word and get it to make my document have
paragraphs and look more professional ? Can this be
done ...

Thanks in advance

Hi John,

Assuming I'm understanding your question correctly:

When you feel as though there is a natural division in what you are saying,
or when you have switched from one topic to another, then you should put the
paragraph break in yourself, by hitting the "return" key. This will start
your text on a new line, and you may want to hit the "tab" key to indent the
first line.

I doubt you will like the results if you let the computer program decide
when you have changed topics.
