We have a weird issue with this FileNET application on XP Pro. With user as
Local Admin, File | Open and File | Save As (which both use the windows
Open, Save As dialogs) show and work just as you'd expect. With user as
Power User the dialog just doesn't show - and there is no error message.
However all other IDM Viewer functionality appears be OK.

Monitoring gives no clues to problem - there are no registry entries than
are access denied; no folder permissions that are restricting access etc.

Has anyone encountered similar issues with IDM Viewer or any other app???

Hoping someone can help.

It sounds like your program won't work properly unless the user has full
administrative privileges. Older programs and/or programs that were not
properly written for multi-user, permissions-based operating system
often have this problem. Either set it up to run with administrative
privileges or contact the program mftr.'s tech support. Perhaps they
have an upgrade, patch, or workaround for you.

Hi,
I have a similar problem with the IDM viewer,
it does not want to open. FNI files, IDM viewer window is gray and does not open anything!

How can I fix it?
Is there an other program that could open. FNI file?

thx.
