painted graphics to image

Hi,
Please excuse my ignorance as I am new to C#.
After painting some graphics in a region on a form, I am trying to
assign the graphics to the form's BackgoundImage property. Can someone
please tell me how?

The only way to do this is to paint onto a bitmap and then set that bitmap
as the form background.
