I take it that you can't find the shortcut to it in the Start Menu?

The actual .exe file is %SystemRoot%\System32\mspaint.exe where %SystemRoot%
is typically C:\.

where's my paint program?
Paint is located in Start\All Programs\Accessories\Paint. You can also
create a new paint document by right clicking in a folder or on the desktop,
and selecting new, then bitmap image. If you're talking about paint files
that exist in your computer that are opening up with the Windows Fax and
Picture Viewer and you'd like to change it back to paint, right click on any
of your bitmap images and click Properties. From there, click the button
that says "Change...". Select Paint and click OK. Then click OK on the
properties Window. Now your bitmap images will open with paint. If your
paint is missing from Start\All Programs\Accessories\, then you'll need to
add it by doing this:
1. Go to start\settings\control panel (or start\control panel)
2. Add or Remove Programs
3. On the left, click Add/Remove Windows Components
4. Double click Accessories and Utilities
5. Double click Accessories
6. Make sure Paint is checked. If it's not, check it. Click OK.
7. Click OK on the Accessories and Utilities window.
8. Click next and follow the steps.

If none of these answer your question, wait until someone else comes along
to assist you that may be able to provide a better answer.

I am trying to fill in some shapes with colors in paint and it's not
happening. The program keeps filling everything in as gray. How do I fix
this? I really need this thing to start working as I've got a project to
finish.

Thank you!

Go to Image/Attributes and make sure colour is selected.

None of my settings have changed. I tried the attribute one before but it
was ok. Nothing was changed.

None of my settings have changed. I have the color box up and pick colors,
but still getting gray!

Open Paint | Hit F1 | Click the Index tab | Type color in the Search box

Hope this helps. Let us know.

Bear in mind that right-clicking and left-clicking with the fill option,
will fill with different colours (foreground and background colours).
