The paint program I had with Windows 95 had a feature
which showed the x-y coordinates of the cursor. My
Windows XP Paint program does not have this feature. Is
there any way of incorporating this feature?

My guess is that the pbrush.exe file from Win 95 might just work on XP, though I haven't tried.

Sorry, but it won't. 9x vs NT and all that...

There are several free paint programs which display cursor coordinates
(e.g., http://www.winsite.com/bin/Info?500000003588 Imageforge
displays the position at the bottom of its screen).

My version of PAINT in XP has a view menu, with a Status bar
and then I see a set of X/Y coordinates.

Indeed. Maybe the OP didn't have it turned on, or is using another
version.

No doubt, but I think all versions of Paint have the view
menu.
