Paging File Problems

I just upgraded a PC from Windows 2000 to XP Pro and now the paging
file will not change from 0. It will let me reset it to a custom
size, but then when I go back in it is at 0 again. The PC has an
Intel D815EFV mobo and it seems like there was an issue with these a
few years back. I think I fixed this problem with a download from
Microsoft but now I can’t find anything in the KB about it. Help?

Check and see if you have the "Intel Application Accelerator" listed
in Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs. If it is there it may be an
old version, perhaps brought forward from your Windows 2000, and there
are known issues that can be caused by this old version.

The fix is simple - get the updated drivers Windows XP drivers for
your motherboard from the Intel web site (www.intel.com)

Good luck
