I have experienced the same issue. The registry will keep
the settings for the page file so I did press SET. I made
sure that the system and administrators accounts had full
control of the ntfs vol.
Now someone in our company worked on her laptop and found
a virus, " the tech could not remember the virus" cleaned
the virus and then we found this issue. I do not know if
it is related.
we even ran pagefileconfig.vbs to try and create the
pagefile but could not. we do not know if this file is
accually the file that is used to create the file.
