Hi,

I have heard that pagefile.sys file serves somewhat like backup RAM when
needed, but it is now at 914 MB. Seems like it is taking up quite a bit of
space for something not always used. How can it be reduced in size?

The paging file is not so much a "backup" for your RAM but
a working area for Windows where it places data that is not
immediately required. Reducing the size of the paging file is
not a good idea - it is likely to have a detrimental effect on
performance. If you're running out of disk space then you
should get a larger disk. They are cheap - 914 MBytes costs
you about $1.00!

Thanks much - I will not touch it ;)
