pagefile question

Are there any problems I might have by putting the minimum pagefile
at 800mb?
In order to get the program Adobe Photodeluxe I have to set my
pagefile minimum at 800mb, any more and I get a "not enough memory"
error and the program won't start. I can leave the maximum pagefile
amount at the computer recommended amount ( 1920mb ). I have 640mb ram.

That will cause no trouble to anything else: indeed I would suggest
having the initial size lower, say 100, and only increasing it if you
find, looking in Explorer, that the C:\pagefile.sys is getting bigger
than that. Personally I strongly disapprove of the way Adobe takes over
the pagefile as if it belonged to itself, and will have nothing to do
with them
